Back in the Interactive saddle again! I ain’t dead yet!

Looks like my job role will change yet again and for the good this time. My focus will include social media, ecommerce, seo, sem and every i-acronym you can think of. Needless to say I am psyched!

The book “Wisdom of Crowds” also has given me some great insight…as I review it. by James Surowiecki ( his name just sounds smart, doesn’t it?)

Meanwhile I am using Coremetrics data to set baseline measurements for EVERYTHING before I start my gig. That way I can tell when we make an impact. I had kinda given them up for dead but now that I am using their products it is stunning! Their “Live” product lets me monitor pages as I browse. Kinda like riding the range every day and checking on the herd. It’s a Texas thing, I guess.

I predict that Cisco will buy them…they already own the biggest provider of DVRs in the world. Go-to-my TV may be on the way!

Here is the article that sparked this rant.
